Also known as “The Lunch Bunch”, this group meets at the church fellowship hall each Tuesday from Noon to 2 p.m. to share crafting tips and create handmade items. Coffee and leftover treats from Sunday Fellowship hour are served and participants bring a bag lunch.
Craft group items are used to support many different outreach ministries—from preparing bags of homemade goods for sailors distributed by Seafarers International Mission, to knitting prayer shawls for local hospice patients, to creating baptismal garments and toys for newborns. Craft Fairs featuring a wide array of homemade goodies for purchase by the community are hosted a few times of year— most often November and June.
If you’d like to check out a craft group meeting, the doors are always open! Stop by any time to share crafts and fellowship with the group. Write to office@lcospatchogue.org to be directed to current craft group leaders for questions.
